To the beautiful you!

To the beautiful you, rest in peace!
Life is too beautiful to end abruptly,
You should taste love, hatred and pain,
Which are nothing but a bundle of life.

Who is free from mystery?, you left,
So sudden, that is too unfair and cruel,
You must age gracefully, leave footprints,
For the world to remember you as you!

It’s sad that you are already gone,
You may rest now, with no pain,
As you may have felt “it’s painful”,
You became eternally beautiful!

An Angel

She, a pure soul worked with him,
He liked her for her humble nature,
Proposed and married her happily,
Seasons changed, so did he, cruelly.

The devil inside him provoked him,
Made him an obsessive man of rage,
Lost all his savings in intraday trading,
Gave her a tough time, drove her mad.

She stood strong, changed him with love,
Then came the blow so strong to digest,
That he is dying slowly, losing himself,
Yet, she hoped a miracle might happen!

I’m Clean

Was under the scorching Sun,
All day long, burning in heat,
I noticed a sudden change,
The Sky poured down on me.

I felt refreshed and clean,
As the rain washed the dirt,
Cursed her for driving me fast,
On any dusty road with no care.

She must be happy for the rain,
As she can sleep forgetting me,
Jump in happiness at my sight,
That the rain did her job so clean.

It beats fast

I can feel my pounding heart,
At the gym on a treadmill,
And when I laugh at silly jokes,
A simple sign of being alive!

The heart is really amazing,
That gives love and affection,
Is just made of flesh and blood,
That lets us stay humane!

Pounds fast when you love,
Skips a beat when you miss it,
Both the ways, it pains a lot,
Yet, better to follow your heart!

Ouch!

Love the way he cycles for hours,
In between the chats and giggles.
My heart falls on my feet often,
When he vanishes round the corner.

Exhausted, I fall on the big bed,
Aah ! I shout as Legos are there.
Wake up suffocated at night,
To find him sleeping on my chest.

Long to see him wake up smiling,
Find myself lonely if out of sight.
Though his tantrums are aloud,
I rather prefer them to his silence.

Night Owl

As I close my eyes yawning loudly,
All the black memories stand in queue,
As if I wanted to remember one by one,
Standing in a perfect line, moving slowly.

Switched on my mobile to watch a movie,
All I seem to watch is horror and suspense,
In the midst of a horrible murder scene,
The night watchman blew his whistle.

Shaken from head to toe, I cursed him,
For he may be scared of the dark,
And blows the whistle as a warning,
For the thieves to be careful!

Lazy Devil

Hit the gym last week happily,
Worked out with determination,
End of the week, the devil appeared-
Out of the blue, tempting me to quit.

Muscles cramped, legs wobbly,
I took an oath not to quit easily,
As I recollected a slender one,
In front of the mirror exercising!

The lazy devil vanished suddenly,
As I got up to go to the gym,
Sneezed several times breathlessly,
The devil then asked me to rest.
