Stalker!

Hey stalker, I know you follow me,
In Facebook and other social media,
Read my posts daily and repeatedly,
Respond to my posts with silly posts!

Hope you got something to do,
Instead of stalking me all day long,
You can find what interests you,
And let go off me for heaven’s sake!

Wait! How do I know you stalk me?
Do I keep watching your moves?
Oh, we are sailing on the same boat!
Happy stalking buddy! Adieu.

Couch Potato

Could hear the birds chirping,
And the dogs barking loudly,
As I tried to get out of my bed,
Sensed silence inside the house.
Its weekend! Can be lazy,
And enjoy the days in silence,
Thinking about useless things,
Roaming inside the house!
Sitting idle sounds peaceful,
With no car honking in my ears,
Need not pick and drop anyone,
So I closed my eyes to sleep.

Ouch!

Love the way he cycles for hours,
In between the chats and giggles.
My heart falls on my feet often,
When he vanishes round the corner.

Exhausted, I fall on the big bed,
Aah ! I shout as Legos are there.
Wake up suffocated at night,
To find him sleeping on my chest.

Long to see him wake up smiling,
Find myself lonely if out of sight.
Though his tantrums are aloud,
I rather prefer them to his silence.

Lazy Devil

Hit the gym last week happily,
Worked out with determination,
End of the week, the devil appeared-
Out of the blue, tempting me to quit.

Muscles cramped, legs wobbly,
I took an oath not to quit easily,
As I recollected a slender one,
In front of the mirror exercising!

The lazy devil vanished suddenly,
As I got up to go to the gym,
Sneezed several times breathlessly,
The devil then asked me to rest.

Narcissus

Dresses don’t thrill me as before,
Money doesn’t matter to me,
Parents became second priority,
All I see is him every minute.

His eternal beauty amazes me,
My heart flutters at his smile,
The same is when he is otherwise,
Everything he says is funny to me.

I laugh and laugh at his tantrum,
Oh! am I becoming mad in love,
Let me not become Narcissus,
Who atlast turned into a flower!

Locked door

Fear not if you see a locked door,

As there may be another opened,

To explore the options to soar high;

Life is a canvas, dare to hold the brush.

You may paint it black or throw colors,

As it’s your choice to choose happiness,

Overcoming expectation and deceit,

And come up with flying colours in life.

Handle failure with ease as it’s okay,

And it’s not the end of the world,

Be smart to find another solution,

Dead end may not be the end!

George and Mama Pig

He calls himself, “George”,
Piles up all the pillows,
And jumps from the sofa,
Rolling on the floor giggling!

My pulse becomes abnormal,
As I wish to burn the pillows,
But his tantrums warn me,
And keep myself composed!

Granny pig has no patience,
And guts to watch George,
Grandpa pig is horrified,
Yet, keeps an eye on him!

Mommy pig had a long day,
Watching over him play,
Falls asleep before bedtime,
Awakes hearing,”Mom!”.
