Ouch!

Love the way he cycles for hours,
In between the chats and giggles.
My heart falls on my feet often,
When he vanishes round the corner.

Exhausted, I fall on the big bed,
Aah ! I shout as Legos are there.
Wake up suffocated at night,
To find him sleeping on my chest.

Long to see him wake up smiling,
Find myself lonely if out of sight.
Though his tantrums are aloud,
I rather prefer them to his silence.

Lazy Devil

Hit the gym last week happily,
Worked out with determination,
End of the week, the devil appeared-
Out of the blue, tempting me to quit.

Muscles cramped, legs wobbly,
I took an oath not to quit easily,
As I recollected a slender one,
In front of the mirror exercising!

The lazy devil vanished suddenly,
As I got up to go to the gym,
Sneezed several times breathlessly,
The devil then asked me to rest.

Right Path

She reads others’ mind with ease,
Doesn’t get fooled as expected,
Gives back with no hesitation,
Smilingly brings down the wile.

The costly price for being honest,
Is to be an outsider or an outcast,
Expressing the truth to the world,
That is too corrupt to stand her.

She took the absolute right path,
Staying away from the nonsense,
That will crush her right soul,
No matter whoever objected!

Bruised

Kept hearing kittens scream,
Thought was a normal fight,
But heard a cat went crazy,
Loosing her kittens to a monster.

Saw a hurt kitten on my gate,
Tired with bruises on his back,
Limped his way to me in pain,
Offered him a piece of cake.

Shocked to see his grit to live
A poor little soft creature is he!
He felt very safe in my garage,
As he is not scared anymore!

Locked door

Fear not if you see a locked door,

As there may be another opened,

To explore the options to soar high;

Life is a canvas, dare to hold the brush.

You may paint it black or throw colors,

As it’s your choice to choose happiness,

Overcoming expectation and deceit,

And come up with flying colours in life.

Handle failure with ease as it’s okay,

And it’s not the end of the world,

Be smart to find another solution,

Dead end may not be the end!

George and Mama Pig

He calls himself, “George”,
Piles up all the pillows,
And jumps from the sofa,
Rolling on the floor giggling!

My pulse becomes abnormal,
As I wish to burn the pillows,
But his tantrums warn me,
And keep myself composed!

Granny pig has no patience,
And guts to watch George,
Grandpa pig is horrified,
Yet, keeps an eye on him!

Mommy pig had a long day,
Watching over him play,
Falls asleep before bedtime,
Awakes hearing,”Mom!”.

The Plight

Do you suffer from a loveless life?
You are not alone in this world,
As no one is happy but miserable,
Even if they are blessed with love.

Cut of the expectation after a point,
And focus on how to live this life,
For you may not get this life again,
Stop chasing after love that’s fake.

You can’t undo the wasted time,
Waiting for finding the lost love,
But do yourself a favor forgetting,
The past that’s worthless and nil.
