George and Mama Pig

He calls himself, “George”,
Piles up all the pillows,
And jumps from the sofa,
Rolling on the floor giggling!

My pulse becomes abnormal,
As I wish to burn the pillows,
But his tantrums warn me,
And keep myself composed!

Granny pig has no patience,
And guts to watch George,
Grandpa pig is horrified,
Yet, keeps an eye on him!

Mommy pig had a long day,
Watching over him play,
Falls asleep before bedtime,
Awakes hearing,”Mom!”.

Brutus!

I know you backbit me,

Made me fall for your lies,

Never think that I was blind,

As I don’t give a damn!

You won chasing me out,

But that’s no end for me,

All that you did for me,

Brought out the real me!

Have not trusted anyone,

But you! Your gift in return,

Was like a sour mango,

That lingers on my tongue,

And would never go away.

Fly alone

None will go till grave with you,

So get used to walk or fly alone,

You may get to know people,

On the way of life journey!

Keep them as pals for the time,

But don’t cling to them for life,

For you may die inside if alone,

But can fly high if you fly alone.

One has the right to ditch you,

Accept it with much courage,

As you have to let them go,

For love must be spontaneous!

My Math Teacher

Never hated my Math teacher,

Though I cursed the subject,

She had a beautiful handwriting,

Her steps were so clear and legible.

Had no real personal life for herself,

As some heartless left her all alone,

Have never seen such a sad soul,

Who put her heart in teaching.

Decades passed but my heart broke,

When I saw her name in obituary,

Didn’t cry but with a heavy heart,

Enquired why she left so early,

Felt so bad she refused chemo,

As she may felt to end the pain!

Cherish it if found!

Once sweet, turns bitter,
The morale changes in time,
As all have psychic changes,
That may test the conscience!

Give more, yet demands more,
Not the loved ones are saints,
But are mean, as none is Buddha,
As one can live with no love.

If one keeps the mind focused,
Can find the truth of existence,
Has nothing to do with love,
But can cherish it if found!

Masha and the Bear

Bear! Bear! Where are you?
Called my son and I replied,
“Yes, Masha” with a smile,
Let’s play hide and seek!

He hid under the bed,
His feet clearly visible out,
I acted finding him nowhere,
Giggling, out came my son.

Oh, Bear! I won the game,
Yes! I said to cheer him,
My cutie pie is a pure soul,
A precious piece of gem!

Fly away

Since a few decades, I see,
A couple not the same but,
Different pair that chirp,
Happily speaking in joy!

I see one guard the nest,
May take turns, never knew,
As both are green and same,
Cute little pair are they!

Calm they dwell in the hole,
Hate any noise or attention,
Hard to capture in my mobile,
As they fly away to snub me!
